The food scene in Lisbon never slows down and for this summer season there are some new amazing openings to announce. So here are the hottest new places in Lisbon to check out right now.
1. Casolare & Buna: A Stylish New Brunch Duo
Lisbon just got a little more fashionable and tastier as Portuguese fashion influencer Caetana Botelho Afonso has launched Casolare. It’s a new brunch and lunch spot, in collaboration with her boyfriend Tomás. Right next to the specialty coffee shop Buna on Rua de São Bento 3, this new opening is already a HOT one.

Buna handles the drinks with expertly brewed coffee, while Casolare offers a curated menu featuring Ricotta & Blueberry Toast, Mortadella Focaccia, homemade granola and seasonal dishes. The light-filled interior and modern touches make it a perfect setting for lazy mornings or leisurely lunches. No wonder that it’s quietly claimed its place as one of Lisbon’s hottest all-day brunch destinations.
2. Gandaia Club: Restaurant and Rooftop
One of Lisbon’s hottest concepts might be Gandaia Club. It’s a clever fusion of the former hotspots The Decadente and Insólito. That news is especially buzzing in the Bairro Alto and Príncipe Real neighbourhoods. Downstairs, The Decadente with chef David Vieira has been transformed into a more intimate, plant-forward dining experience. Think about Iberian snacks, Asian-spiced fish and veggie plates designed to share.

Upstairs, The Hidden Rooftop serves refreshing cocktails like the bestselling Morning Glory (mezcal, rum, pineapple) and casual bites until 8 pm. These are accompanied by panoramic city views and chilled vibes. With DJ sets, yoga events and relaxed weekend crowds, Gandaia Club is quickly becoming Lisbon’s news for laid-back evenings with style.
3. Beco Bagels: Artisanal Bagel and Specialty Coffee
Finally, we even have some fresh out-the-oven news: Beco Bagels opens today in the heart of Lisbon. With the new opening, the famous Do Beco Padaria brand expands its brand.
Inspired by classic New York bagels, each piece is hand-rolled, naturally fermented and baked with care. Besides the chewy and flavourful bagels, you can expect barista-crafted specialty coffee. This spot looks set to be Lisbon’s next bagel hotspot.
