After the 3:0 win of Portugal against Turkey in the group stage of the EURO 2024 in Germany, thousands of Portuguese fans celebrated their team inside and around the stadium. The special team performance on Saturday already began hours before kick-off with a huge fanwalk in the city of Dortmund.

At 11 am the first supporters of the Seleção arrived at the official fan meeting point in the Westpark, where food stalls offered typical Portuguese food such as Bifana and Frango accompanied by Portuguese music and a great atmosphere.


On time at 3 pm, the crowd of more than 6,000 Portuguese fans walked from the Westpark through the city of Dortmund to the stadium. The fanwalk took around one hour with some memorable impressions and best weather at 22 degrees.
The incredible atmosphere also continued inside the stadium, even if the Turkish supporters were in superior numbers. After the early goal from Bernardo Silva all dams were broken and the Portuguese fans inside the stadium took over the atmosphere.

It was an incredible team performance that didn’t go unnoticed in Lisbon either. At Cidade do Futebol next to the Estadio Nacional, the free tickets for the public viewing against Turkey were already sold out days before the match.
Portugal qualified for the round of 16
After the comfortable win against Turkey, the Seleção is the first-placed team in the group and qualified for the round of 16. Here, Portugal will face one of the best best third-placed at the stadium in Frankfurt. It can be expected that, when the ticket sale will start soon, tickets for this match will be highly demanded.
