Livraria Fonte de Letras – A Bookstore Full of Surprises
Fonte de Letras is a tiny and cozy bookstore in Évora. When you enter the blue iron glass door, you enter a bookstore with great books from interesting publishers. Most of them are less well-known authors that publicise Portuguese literature. Nevertheless, you can find a small section with English, Spanish, French and Italian literature.

Are you ready for a blind date with a book? Then keep an eye at the entrance at Fonte de Letras. There is a small area where the books are sold wrapped in brown paper and are holding a description. A perfect opportunity for those who love books and surprises! Another surprise is the poem machine (similar to a bubble gum machine) at the entrance of the bookshop, where you pay 50 cents and receive a paper with a poem from a Portuguese author.
